What is Potters House Manukau all about?

We are a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, non-denominational Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. We are part of a worldwide fellowship comprising of over 4000 churches in more than 130 countries. We are passionate about transforming lives through the power of Jesus, making disciples, and reaching the world.

Wednesday Service is at 7.30pm

Children’s Ministry
Children’s Sunday School is available in March 2025 during the morning service to help young ones grow in their faith in a fun and age-appropriate way.

What are the service times?

Our Sunday services are at 10:30am and 6:30pm.

Our Wednesday services are 7:30pm

Is there a dress code for attending a church service?

No, there is no formal dress code for attending our church services. We encourage you to come as you are, whether that means dressing casually or wearing your Sunday best. Our goal is to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where everyone feels at home. What matters most is your presence, not what you wear!

What kind of programs do you have for children at The Pottershouse Manukau - In the Heart of South Auckland?

Our programs for children of all ages, including Sunday School, Kids Church, and Vacation Bible School recommence February 2025 as we revamp things.

Is there parking available?

Yes there are ample free carparks outside our building.

How long do services usually last?

Usually an hour and a half.

What kind of church is this?

We are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church focused on sharing the love of Jesus and living out His teachings. Our church emphasizes the importance of worship, discipleship, fellowship, and community outreach. We are committed to growing in our faith, supporting one another, and making a positive impact in the world. Whether you're exploring faith or looking for a church family, we welcome you to join us! We are also a church planting fellowship so discples who are called to the ministry will have opportunity to develop their calling in very practical ways in the local cchurch and community.

Are pets allowed?

While we love animals, pets are generally not allowed inside the church building during services or events, except for certified service animals. This policy helps us maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. If you have specific needs or questions, feel free to contact us in advance!

Is the church accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes.

Do you have small groups or Bible studies?

Our plan is to commence these in winter / spring 2025.

Is the church kid-friendly?

Absolutely! We love having children at our church. We offer dedicated programs and activities for kids during the service, so they can learn about God in a fun and engaging way. If you prefer to keep your little ones with you, that's perfectly fine too—our services are family-friendly, and children are always welcome in the main sanctuary.

What can I expect during a service?

Our services typically include worship through music, prayer, and a Bible-based textual message designed to inspire and encourage you in your faith. You'll find a warm, welcoming atmosphere where people of all backgrounds come together to worship God. Whether you’re new to church or have been attending for years, you’ll feel right at home.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

You’re welcome to bring your own Bible if you’d like, but it’s not required. We usually display scripture verses on a screen, and Bibles are available at the church if you’d like to use one during the service.

Will I be asked to give money?

We do take up an offering as part of our worship, but there is no obligation or pressure to give. If you’re visiting, your presence is a gift to us. Giving is an opportunity for regular attendees to support the church’s mission and ministries.

Do you offer prayer or counseling?

Yes, we do! If you need prayer, we have a pastor who prays as well as a dedicated team available to pray with you after the service or at any time. We also offer counseling for those who need guidance or support. Please reach out to us to schedule a session or learn more. We’re here to help!
