MEET THE PASTOR

Pastor Stevens is a compassionate shepherd and leader with a heart for seeing lives transformed by the Gospel. He has devoted his life to building and guiding a vibrant church community in Manukau, Auckland, alongside his wife, Mihi and their children. Together, they combine faith, vision, and an unwavering commitment to God’s work, inspiring others to discover their identity and purpose in Christ, no matter what ethnicity or culture they are from.

Pastor Stevens’ journey of faith is deeply rooted in his own story of redemption. Raised in a variety of homes and locations, he encountered the life-changing power of Jesus Christ as a young man. It was through this encounter that he experienced healing from past struggles, restoration of his purpose, and a clear calling to ministry. Today, Pastor Stevens brings a powerful blend of authenticity and biblical teaching, drawing from his personal experiences to encourage and uplift others. His mission is to help individuals and families overcome challenges, grow in their faith, and step into their God-given destiny.

Mihi also has a remarkable testimony of redemption and restoration. She grew up in a hardworking family, but beneath the surface, she faced the turmoil of witnessing domestic violence. These experiences left her struggling with fear, anger, and insecurity. During her teenage years, Mihi searched for acceptance and peace but carried unresolved pain into adulthood.

Her life changed dramatically when she encountered the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Invited to church, she found the strength to forgive, let go of her pain, and embark on a path of healing. She now shares her testimony to inspire others, showing how God can bring hope and restoration even from the darkest places.

As a couple, Pastor Stevens and Mihi blend their experiences, faith, and passion to serve their congregation and the wider community. They focus on practical, biblical teaching and creating a supportive environment where people can encounter God, find freedom in Christ, and flourish in their faith.

They are proud parents of six children and grandparents to three. Their family and faith inspire their mission to see individuals and families experience the same hope and healing they have found in Jesus. Together, they are fiercely protective of the church they are building to reflect God’s love and grace for all.
